I have been shopping this particular veggie vendor in Almadies for several years. A few days ago I bought a beautiful load of ‘thieb veg and more’ that I then roasted and made into a huge batch of soup that I’ve been eating for lunches. Carrots, cabbage, eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes, turnips, white sweet potato… and piment, of course. 😉

Having so many dining & grocery options in Dakar is great, but remember that sometimes there is treasure is right at the corner.
