2017 marks 30 years of the Dakar Women’s Group and 30 years of putting energy and funds into charitable causes. To date, the Dakar Women’s Group has given well over 100 million fCFAto associations working with children, women, and the disabled.

To celebrate our 30 years, we aim to raise 30 million fCFA this club year. Our first fundraising event of the year will be the Festival of Taste. A gourmet evening of delicious food from across five continents. Our 300 + members represent over fifty countries, so we will be highlighting the international flavor of our association. Tickets cost 25 000 fCFAand there are many tombola prizes to be won, including an airline ticket from Air France, hotel stays, gift vouchers for restaurants and spa treatments.

The money raised from sponsorship, ticket sales and tombola goes towards our charity projects.
