Presse Café has opened a branch in Point E/Zone B in the pretty garden, great atmosphere of The British Council. All the usual suspects from the main branch’s menu are there: real ‘barista’ coffee and fresh fruit juices, muffins, cakes, pastries… And at lunch there are two daily specials (Senegalese/European) priced 1500/2500 CFA, as well as wraps, sandwiches, pizzas… and the desserts are to die for.
Best coffee in Point E, and the café is a great place for quick lunch, meet up with friends or have a business meeting. Delivery available!
Thank you for this info, Carrie!
Sorry and Disappointed in the new Presse Cafe in Point E. 😦
We were told by the owner that they would be open at 8:00am on this past Saturday via a phone call the night before. We all were in a bit of time constraint that Saturday morning with other errands to start a bit before 9am, so we thought that if we got there right at 8:00am we would have time for a nice coffee and maybe something else.
We walked in and to the back of the building where the new Presse Cafe is located and it was totally vacant, dark, and found all the covers still on all the coffee/cooking machines. The guard said the owner and workers will be coming ‘soon’. Also as we walking back to the front of the building, I felt the courtyard and walk-way was very dirty, uninviting, and there was a little closet-like building heaping with trash and it was flowing out right on the courtyard next to the sidewalk to the Presse Cafe. It was gross.
We were so excited to try it but now they will have to convince me to come back.
