Another new restaurant in Dakar! Uncle Sam’s American Diner opened on Saturday, October 25th. It’s located across the street from the Airport Casino Hotel on the Route de l’Aeroport near Plage du Virage.

“Had already had lunch, so just stopped for ice cream. However, the crispy chicken looked good! The meal deals looked very reasonably priced.”
“We split the Philly cheesesteak and the chicken burger. The cheesesteak was tasty, though I can’t speak to its authenticity and the chicken burger was a giant chicken nugget on a decent bun. We’ll probably stick with Classic Burger, Yum Yum, and Planet Kebab for our fast food needs, but I’d pick Uncle Sam’s over Caesar’s in a pinch.”

Honestly, you guys have waaaaay more American-style food places than we do in Budapest!
Went there last Friday with the kids. Thank God I didn’t order anything for myself. It was horrible!! the kids refused to finish eating after their first bite. We ordered a cheese burger ( I have no clue what kind of sauce they smothered the patty with), hot dog meal ( it was disgusting)
I don’t recommend at all
I don’t know wether “Uncle sam” is getting worse by the time or they are just neglecting their business. I went there yesterday night with my wife…we run from he place totally choked ,the menu is all hand-written,and when we ask for this or that it is was simply not available…my counsel avoid this restaurant!!!
