My vote goes to La Piazzola in Mermoz.

Yes, they do pizzas and they do them well. But I think because of the restaurant’s name, people (ahem, self included) don’t always realize that there’s more to this little spot. And it’s definitely worth discovering! Their pastas and salads are AMAZING. High quality ingredients, very generous portions, reasonable prices… We’ve had the bruschetta (wow!), chef’s salad, dinner vegetable salad, tagliatelles with carbonara, tagliatelles with smoked salmon and vegetarian lasagne. All excellent.

For their pizzas, the one with chorizo is pretty awesome. Or there are 24 others to choose from.

I’ve heard their apple tart is delicious, but I never have room for dessert… and that’s saying something!

They have daily specials, Thursdays there are five chicken specials and they’ve just launched an Asian menu.

There is a sit-down restaurant or delivery is available, and you can also order via Hellofood.
