You may have heard that there’s another new American store in Dakar!

Alimentation CATIM is located downtown at 51 avenue Pompidou (called ‘Ponty’ by locals). They carry a wide range of US products, many from Costco. They are open Monday-Saturday from 9am to 9pm and Sundays from 9am to 6pm.

Their Facebook page has loads of photos so you can take a quick virtual tour of the store before heading downtown with a giant shopping bag. 🙂
