The village of Guéréo is located about 70 kilometers south of Dakar and is home to fishermen and farmers. The Jardins de Guéréo is an initiative that brings together the people of the village with the people of Dakar.
The farmers use organic methods to cultivate a variety of produce, including tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, zucchini, carrots, turnips, potatoes, lettuce, celery, parsley, cilantro, and bissap without any traces of pesticide or chemicals.
The Jardins de Guéréo is now offering delivery of a large basket of mixed produce to homes in Dakar for 5,000cfa.
