This is one of those things that you may not appreciate much if you’re new to Dakar. But if you’ve been here awhile, you know that the arrival of yellow lemons is a big deal. Not that the Casamance limes (citrons verts) aren’t delicious, but you start to miss the clean, fresh taste of yellow lemons (citrons jaunes).

Buy ’em while you can! Squeeze ’em & freeze ’em too.
