A chicken experiment

Cluck, cluck!

A friend of mine did a chicken experiment lately. (And if you know who he is, you won’t be surprised at all. This is exactly the kind of thing he does.)

He bought five local chickens for 3,000cfa each, cleaned and dressed them, then cut them into legs, wings and breast pieces. He weighed out these parts and did the math to see how the price compared to buying chicken pieces at local grocery stores.

Any guesses?

The local chickens came out to just a few hundred cfa cheaper per kilo! Very good to know. Thanks, Shawn. Keep us posted on any further experiments and research!
