Last Sunday we took an afternoon walk in Hann-Maristes park, one of our favorite spots. However, this time was even better.

The area around the lake has been renovated and now has a nice bar area under the pavillion (cold soft drinks are 500cfa), a great breeze, comfortable tables and chairs and some really good live music. (No, really – it was good music!) We haven’t been for lunch yet, but will definitely try to soon.

Boat rides around the lake are 500cfa for adults and 250cfa for kids.

Highly recommend a visit to the new pavillion on a Sunday afternoon!
